Community events, fundraisers, and where you can find Montana Whitewater this winter! We close up shop for trips in the winter, but that doesn’t mean Montana Whitewater’s community presence shuts down. In 2019 alone, we donated over $10,000 worth of our activities to local events, fundraisers, and raffles. Above all, we take pride in offering affordable trips to local youth groups and camps all summer long. Therefore, if you or your business may be interested in utilizing us for a community event or trip contact us!
First of all, we all know the obvious benefits from kids getting exposure to the outdoors like vitamin D from the sun, general exercise, and appreciation for nature. Secondly, M-Dub believes that recreating in nature increases children’s planning, prioritizing, troubleshooting skills, while developing a high capacity to multitask. Thirdly, kids can learn how to take safety seriously while pushing themselves out of their comfort zones. Therefore, providing a route for maturity and self-perseverance. Lastly, socialization with other kids also increases with more outdoor activity. Which leads into healthy camaraderie, teamwork, and compassionate kids. All of these are reasons why we aim to donate and provide awesome adventure activities for the youth of Montana. So, we decided to highlight how Montana Whitewater’s community presence helps us provide opportunities for youth to get outside in the summertime.
