Gallatin River Classic Full Day & Classic Zip

Spend the morning observing wildlife while floating by mountain meadows and spectacular rock outcroppings. You’ll run Snake Bite, Mother Eater and Portal Creek rapids. We’ll take a break to indulge in a delicious all you can eat lunch by the river. Lunch and water will be provided. Let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions so they can be accommodated. Enjoy an exhilarating afternoon rafting the lower canyon. The lower section takes you through the wildest water on the Gallatin! You’ll begin with small rapids that progress in size until you are dropped into the Mad Mile,* featuring the longest stretch of whitewater in the region and the legendary House Rock Rapid!

You will return to the Gallatin Office around 4:00. Change your clothes, catch your breath, and join us for the Classic ZipLine tour at 4:30!**

The Classic ZipLine tour is a great introduction to zip lining, with 3 zips and 3 adventure bridges. You will begin by ascending to a tree platform 50 ft in the air, where you will take a leap into the air on the first zip. Our second zip line, deemed “The Wiley Wire of the Wild West,” will take you soaring over 800ft across the Gallatin River. Then, strike a pose and show us your zipping style on zip 3, “Grandma’s House,” as you fly over the river and through the woods!

This ZipLine includes:

  • 7 Total Elements
  • 3 Zip Lines
  • 3 Sky Bridges
  • 1 Ladder
  • 2 Tree Platforms
  • Longest Zip Line – over 800ft
  • 2 Zips crossing the Gallatin River
  • Maximum group size is 12
  • Trip length 2 hours
  • Two Guides lead each trip

*Your trip may include the Mad Mile or not (depending on water levels and group ability). Without the Mad Mile, the trip is class I-III.

**You can also come back another day for the zip line tour and still receive the discounted package rate!

When water levels drop in August, this trip will be class I-III even with the Mad Mile.
