The Yellowstone is a wide and deep river with a large voume of water flowing through. Even in "low water" season (August, generally), the Yellowstone has great "hits" and waves.

We start our Half-Day Yellowstone River Raft trips at the border of Yellowstone National Park (Gardiner, MT) and float north through the wild and rolling wave rapids of the "Gardiner Stretch".

We offer Half Day Gallatin River Rafting , Full Day Gallatin River Rafting, Overnight Trips and fabulously fun Dinner Trips.

The Gallatin River is a classic whitewater run - with rapids that increase in intensity as you float down this mountain river. It is a continuous flowing river with lots of maneuvering at low water and fast decision making at high water.

The Gallatin River has different sections of river to float with different groups. The Classic Half Day Trip on the Gallatin is a trip that includes some class II-III rapids followed by the Mad Mile which can be class IV at high water levels.

The Upper Whitewater Trips on the Gallatin is great for families, first timers and times when the water level is just too high to run the legendary "Mad Mile". There are many fun rapids in this section.

The Full Day Trip offers the most scenic section of all the trips below Castle Rock Creek - where scenes from the American Classic Movie, " A RIver Runs Through It" were filmed. The scenery on the Gallatin is incredibly gorgeous.
