 NEW FOR 2008! TEEN KAYAK SCHOOL! Beginner to Intermediate Kayakers ! Come and Enjoy a week of Kayak Instruction. We teach the fundamentals of basic river running to give you a solid base so you can expand your paddling skills. Come have a blast and make new boating friends! July 23-27 $500 At Montana Whitewater, we pride ourselves on providing quality instruction with a high instructor to student ratio. We welcome newcomers to the sport and progress at a rate that matches your ability.  Our instructors are certified, experienced and personable.We offer a fun introduction to a very exciting sport. We cover topics such as safety, equipment, paddling skills, and basic river dynamics. Half-Day Lesson: We spend the morning working on strokes, bracing, balance, and allowing you to get to "know your boat". We go over the basics of a roll and get a chance to run a stretch of river. We recommend this lesson for folks who are brand new to whitewater and kayaking. Full-Day Lesson: The Full Day offers time to go into the skills learned in the half day with extra opportunities to practice skills and run a stretch of the river. The full day is a great opportunity for someone who has been introduced to the basics already.We Provide kayak, spray skirt, paddle, lifejacket, helmet and all gear necessary to enjoy the water and air temperature. (Spray jacket, fleece, wetsuit, booties, gloves). We recommend that you bring a bathing suit, sunglasses, thermal long underwear and warm clothes to change in to. Lunches are not included with the full day but can be arranged by request. Check out the movie!
