American Society for Virology - July 17-31, 2010

Hello and Welcome to Bozeman! Please feel free to call us with any questions.

Gallatin River Whitewater Rafting
Our Gallatin River trips depart from our office, approximately 35 minute drive from Bozeman. The Gallatin is a pristine river that flows out of Yellowstone Park through a rocky canyon. It is Amazingly Beautiful.

Half Day Class I-II )(less challenging) - This is a great trip for people who want a mellow, scenic trip with some small but not difficult rapids. Also recommended for people who do not want to paddle. This trip is called the "Upper Whitewater" since it travels through the upper part of the canyon.

Classic Half Day Class II-IV- (more challenging) - This is our most popular trip at this time of year. It is suitable for most families and most first timers. Each participant will paddle. The trip starts off mellow and builds as you go down. The last section is technical and fun.

Full Day Class II-IV- -
Spend the morning floating through the mountain meadows and enjoying the southern section of the Gallatin Canyon. We provide a deli-style lunch (make your own- on site), and raft the "Classic Half Day" in the afternoon. We can also do a "Upper Whitewater" Full Day on request for groups of 6 or more.
Madison River Full Day Whitewater Rafting
We shuttle you approximately a one hour drive from our meeting place (20 minutes from Bozeman).
The Madison River is a wilderness river with mostly flat water and a few class III rapids. It also has one biggie - a class IV rapid - therefore offering the most exciting rafting in the area at the end of July. This is a wilderness river with extra scenic majesty and a good chance of seeing wildlife.
Horseback Riding Rafting Packages
For those who just want to horseback ride without rafting, we recommend Broken Hart Ranch out of Gallatin Gateway.

We also offer a Paddle and Saddle combination trip. It is a half day ride combined with a half day of rafting. Check out the Gallatin River Paddle and Saddle.

Fly Fishing
Our fly fishing lessons are geared to first timers. We offer introductory lessons to give you a good foundation to explore this amazing sport. All gear is included. You must purchase a fishing license prior to your lesson.
We look forward to showing you a good time while you are here!
